Where we work

Blackburn is home and most of our work is within half an hour of it — across East Lancashire, out through the Ribble Valley, and down towards Chorley and Preston. If you are not on the list, ring and ask. We would rather tell you no than turn up and let you down.

Areas with their own page

Each of these has a page covering what we typically get called out to there and which council handles protected trees for the area.

Who to notify

Protected trees, by council

Tree Preservation Orders and conservation area notices go to the council that covers your property, not the nearest big town. This is how our patch splits up.

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council

Burnley Borough Council

Chorley Borough Council

Preston City Council

Not sure which council you are under?

Neither are a lot of people, particularly along the boundaries around Wilpshire, Mellor Brook and Rishton. We check it against your actual address when we quote, so you do not have to work it out.

Outside the list

If your town is not here

The list above is where we work regularly. It is not a fence. We will travel further for bigger planned jobs — a full day of tree work or a clearance — where it makes sense for both of us.

What we will not do is take on a weekly grass cut an hour away and then let you down when the diary gets tight in June. If we cannot look after you properly, we will say so on the phone.

Do we cover your postcode?

Type it in and you get a straight answer. Nothing is sent anywhere — the check happens on your own phone.

Travelling further for

  • Tree felling and sectional dismantling
  • Full-day hedge runs and reductions
  • Garden clearances and probate properties
  • Driveway and patio washing
  • Fencing jobs

Regular grass-cutting rounds are kept closer to home so we can be reliable about them.

Want a price on your garden?

Tell us what needs doing and we will come and look. Quotes are free, there is no obligation, and you get a straight answer on what the job actually involves.
